Last night, my husband and I had a very rare and late evening out on the town. To top that off, we got to spend it at the Magic Castle. So, in honor of our date night, here’s a photo of Ann as Charlene, the magician’s assistant in The Long Night.Â
Coincidently I just watched THE LONG NIGHT for the first time two nights ago. I was initially interested in the cast – hadn’t heard too much about it – so was surprised at how interesting it was. It’s a great film!
Yeah, it’s an engaging film and shows how Ann had matured as an actress after the War. If I’m not mistaken, most of the shots of the town were done on a sound stage, using forced perspective.
havent seen this one yet, but i recently saw 2 diff films where Loretta Young played a magicians assistant so i’m in the ball park anyway…i guess, sort of O_o
